Redan Accident Kills High School Student

A Redan High School student was killed when the car she was riding in crashed into a tree in DeKalb County Tuesday morning. The teenager and two friends were on their way to school when the car they were driving side swiped another vehicle making a left turn on King Road. Their car careened out of control and smashed head-on into a tree. One student was killed on impact, and another student was critically injured. The third student and the driver of the other car were not injured in the crash.
